Only completed a few washes but really think it has made a huge difference.. especially when pre soaked..
Early days yet seems to be ok but abit expensive at £19.99 for 45 washes
Wasn’t sure this would be work, but after trying with multiple items of clothing that have a smell from running and boxing.. I am amazed. The clothing now doesn’t get the BO smell when worn and warm. Would definitely recommend.
I was a bit skeptical but after using this for a soak on stinky gym tops, it genuinely removed the smell! I tested the t shirts out and they smell great all day.

I was sceptical buying this product, trying various different products both household and bought in the supermarket. Honestly this is amazing. Football boots, sports kit. Smells nice and really gets rid of those long last smells
Really great product, works first time on all my sweaty running gear. Smells great after washing giving my kit a longer life of use.
Always slightly sceptical of the things I see on FB. It really works though and is noticeably better than any of the other products that I have bought to do the same thing. I have just placed my second order. Having 3 very sporty boys I can confirm it’s had a real life test with us!
Gym wash is definitely worth it! With two very active members of the household, my gym kit could easily smell but it doesn’t with gym wash. It’s reasonably priced and delivered quickly. Very happy.
This is really effective and smells great too. Manages to clear smell from all sports kit of husband and 2 teenage boys!
Has banished the stink from teenage gym kit. Didn't think it was possible but with a pre soak in gymwash and a cycle through the washing machine I have been amazed to find that problem now solved
My son can’t home from uni with a suitcase of clothes that hadn’t been dried properly, and everything smelt bad. My normal detergent didn’t fix the problem so I ordered some gym wash! I put it on with a pre wash cycle, and the problem was fixed!!
(The clothes didn’t smell particularly nice, but they no longer smelt bad!)
I then used on a t shirt of my husband’s that he had put in the bin because the sweat smell wouldn’t come out. I soaked it first and then washed it. Came out like new!
This is a great product, it really does work on stinky exercise gear, actually cleans rather than just perfuming and leaves clothes smelling fresh.
I initially bought Gymwash as a last resort to get the smell out of my son's gym and football wear and not really thinking it would work. However, I have been really pleased that it got resistant smells and I've sincr bought further bags of the gym wash powder. It's easy to use and I just add 3 scoops to my 30 degree wash. Thank you.
Really makes a difference to sweaty gym clothes! I can highly recommend the scoop too, to ensure you’re not using too much!
I hate doing reviews….I want the £5 off because I am going to have to buy more as it is the only thing that removes the onion sweat smell from my teens football shirts. Previously to late night buying GymWash on Instagram, I have tried soaking 24 hours in white vinegar, Persil Sportswash, Vanish granules and the bar….nothing can move the smell….EXCEPT….sorry guys, the expensive GymWash. It does work…very well….I literally put two tablespoons in a sink with warm water, 2 hours, through the washer….smell gone.
I tried out, like many others, the Gymwash washing powder to get the stink out of gym clothes, but actually started to use it for ‘general’ laundry too in the end. I love the smell of tea tree so this one really hits the spot with me! The only thing I’m lamenting about is the packaging and the plastic ending up in the landfill. If only it could be made from easily recyclable material - maybe something for the future, as would love to continue using this product. Maybe a refill service of some kind?
Easy to use, does the job, I struggle with allergies and fragrances but also use a lot of synthetic clothing for sports and find the clothes last longer if washed in specific sports washes that don’t clog the clothes they actually wash. I have been impressed with gym wash as when I discovered I was allergic to fragrances I struggled to find a wash that worked for gym clothes etc. When I found gym wash and tried it i am really impressed that it works and I don’t react to it as the fragrance it uses are naturally occurring although if they could produce a completely fragrance free one that would be even better.
Made a difference to very smelly gym clothes! I couldn't get rid of a damp smell on my gym stuff, no matter how hot I washed and how often I washed. Really frustrating to have clean clothes smell unclean. I did a soak with this stuff (the water was disgusting!) which really helped. I will likely do a second one, as there is still a little smell but a lot better than it was. It has saved me having to purchase new gym wear, so well worth the money!
Great product for sports wear and white clothing. I have 2 teenage boys who do a lot of sport so this is well used.
Before I started using Gymwash, my sprouts gear smelt like mud, no matter how many times I washed it. I am so pleased to sat that stink is now long gone, thank you gymwash!
As we always are with things we see on line we were a bit sceptical about what this promised to do. However, we have uniforms that normal washing tablets, softener etc have never taken the bad smell away completely and sports kit that continued to look worse for wear
Now we don’t use anything else for that type of washing other than Gymwash and we’ve also found Gymwash is pretty good at getting stains out and returning things back to white!

I was cynical when this product arrived. I have a lot of stinky sports kit but I also spend a lot of time horse riding and working with a pack of drag hounds so I have lots of really grim shirts and wot not that always seem to have a lingering unpleasant scent. I thought the images of filth soaking out in a bowl of gym wash had been faked - until I soaked my riding/kennels hoody and saw the water turn an unpleasant shade of dark grey verging on black! I've also just tried two scoops in a normal wash and it has obviously done the trick there too as the colour catcher I used was black!
