I run 2-3 times a week and had reached the point where some of my running clothes still smelled even after washing them for longer or at higher temperatures. Since using Gymwash, I’ve noticed a clear and measurable improvement. The trapped sweat odour has reduced significantly, and the clothes come out feeling genuinely fresher rather than simply covered by a strong fragrance.

For the most heavily affected items, I used a diluted white vinegar pre-soak before washing them with Gymwash, and this combination has worked incredibly well. I’m genuinely very pleased with the results so far and would recommend it to anyone struggling with persistent odours in their sports clothes

With this heat, having a nice and cold towel handy makes the the start of the recovery much better.

It's soft and takes enough cold water to refresh but it also dries quickly. If you use it dry to wipe out sweat it's amazing too.

The colours are amazing, really worth every penny.

I wrote a review when I started using Gymwash 4 years ago and thought it worthwhile to add an update. Here’s how it works best for me.

1. A ‘deep clean / soak’ every 6 months of all my kit. It truly helps banish the stale smell that creeps in to training clothes. I previously hand picked the few pieces that I thought would best benefit from gymwash but there was always a bit of workout gear hiding in stealth mode to disrupt the freshness of my kit. All sorted now with this routine.

2. On return from holiday particularly in hot places - all my workout clothes are soaked and washed.

3. I have a few pieces that I use gymwash on more regularly than others but I don’t use this as a regular detergent.

The only thing that Gymwash seemed to struggle with is oil from sports therapy treatments. Otherwise I love it for my kit, have gifted it to friends (a gift that only a true friend can give 🤣) and continue to be a big fan.

Great addition to the Gymwash family. Gives you a perfect measure every time, well worth the minimal cost.

Bought this for wicking work tops that smelt stale. Always been washed after one wear but just started smelling bit stale. Thought I’d give this a bash. Soaked it in the sink for at then through the machine. Could not believe was came out of them! No smell off them now! Would 100% recommend.

Gymwash is exactly the product I've been looking for! I've been feeling like my gym clothes were not washing up as freshly as in the past and was considering buying new things when I saw Gymwash. It's done exactly as it claims and has made my gym clothes smell much better and left me feeling more confident. I was truly shocked and embarrassed by how much dirt came out of my clothes after soaking them per the instructions. I would definitely recommend this product!

I had been seeing the reviews and Ads pop up on my Instagram feed for a while, and like so many of us do, had my doubts and continued to doom scroll instead of buying. I finally decided to order some after putting on one of my workout tops and for a minute questioned whether I had picked up a dirty one! I did the pre-soak as recommended and I was both shocked and a little mortified at the water afterwards. I can confirm it does what it says on packet and I am very much converted - I will be ordering more and have recommended it to a number of my gym friends too.

We have tried many products to wash our sports stuff and it still had a sweaty smell to it that we couldn't get rid of. I saw Gymwash on a Facebook ad and thought seems too good to be true but why not just try it. We soaked our gear first and the colour of the water afterwards was disgusting. The smell has gone and has been replaced with a tea tree scent. I will continue to buy

We have bought this twice now. Even what I call clean clothes soaked in this as a PE teacher I can’t believe the colour of the water! Does what it says it will!

Attached is a photo after soaking my "clean" kit in Gymwash for an hour... I think that says all you need to know. It works!!

Have toyed with getting this for a while, saw an offer pop up and spoke to a friend who had just placed an order and has used it before, raves about it, so took the plunge. Oh My Days!! I thought my clothes were clean!! 😳 the smell is lovely, the water is disgusting, it does exactly what it says it’ll do!! Fascinating process actually. And my tops feel clean. Love it. I bought this mostly for my husband's manky mountain biking gear - normal detergent just wasn't getting rid of the sweat odour. I soaked everything once and have used it in the machine wash since with amazing results.
I've just discovered another problematic item that Gymwash has cracked - sweaty saddle cloths, rugs and boots from the horses! Again, items that can't be washed on a hot wash and normal detergent struggles to break down the grease from the horse's coat combined with sweat. One wash with Gymwash added has them immaculately clean! It is so refreshing to have a product that actually works and lives up to it's advertising claims. Thank you!

My partner exercises at home and when his got warm his gym clothes would “activate” and emit a smell 🤢 A test of products from the supermarket helped but didn’t fix. An add showed me GymWash which he bought and is GAME CHANGING and RELATIONSHIP SAVING. Brilliant product that’s now a non-negotiable.

This stuff is beyond amazing. I have just washed & rescued my husbands tri-suit and trainers after he did an Ironman. Now all I’m going to say is it was hot and sweaty, and toilet paper is not abundant in the portaloos on the course……But thanks to a soak and wash in Gymwash his kit looks (and smells) like new. I cannot recommend Gymwash highly enough, it does what it says on the packet and does it really really well. Thank you for developing this 🍃

I absolutely love this stuff and have recommended it to so many of my friends. I was dubious at first and thought it was a bit costly but it’s worth every penny I’ve had a few orders of it now and hope it continues going from strength to strength!

After reading lots of reviews and getting fed up with smelly gym and running wear, I ordered some Gymwash and I'm so impressed. My clothes smell SO GOOD now! The initial soak is also very satisfying seeing all the grim come out!

I’ve just finished my first pack of gymwash and I am so impressed with the results. My gym kit gets used & abused several times per week. Some items being a few years old and I was worried the stale sweat smell would never go away- but then gymwash came along. It’s saved me from binning them and buying new gear. ☺️ Ps. For months this product has come up as a sponsored ad and I thought it was a gimmick BUT I caved in and today I was blown away. I soaked my gym kit and I was shocked at how grubby it was after only ever using using household brand detergents, and at how amazing gymwash was. The proof of how much grime it removed is in the picture! And to top it off after wearing one top freshly cleaned and dry tonight for 2 classes, a lot of sweat later, it still smelled brand new! So fresh, and so clean! I cannot recommend this highly enough.

In summary this stuff works. I decided to try this out and I’m so glad I did. I was a skeptic and thought my normal detergent does the same stuff but it doesn’t. I decided to put it to the test and put half of my gym clothes (most were ready to wear and were washed already) in a bathtub, after pre soaking in the sink to see what happens. Ewww .. the more I washed the more came out. I couldn’t believe my eyes. I soaked everything for an hour in the bathtub after washing in the sink, I’m shocked. 80% of these clothes had already been washed and ironed.. and this much came out! the next day I had to wash the rest of my gym clothes and start again, I’m so glad I found this, my clothes now actually feel clean. They smell fresh. And I feel my black clothes look darker and whites look brighter! This is a god send and I can’t wait to wash my clothes again. My old gym clothes now have a new life too! (The leggings in the sink were old, washed and just left in my draw, all of this came out after one soak!)
