I bought this when my daughter took up running. I was of course skeptical about it actually working but it really does. Sweaty clothes come out smelling clean

Have toyed with getting this for a while, saw an offer pop up and spoke to a friend who had just placed an order and has used it before, raves about it, so took the plunge. Oh My Days!! I thought my clothes were clean!! 😳 the smell is lovely, the water is disgusting, it does exactly what it says it’ll do!! Fascinating process actually. And my tops feel clean. Love it. Like the fact that the ingredients are "clean" without use of chemicals. Did a soak with a load of older wicking T's - the colour of the water was quite scary! So far, seems to be working well, and as well if not better than other eco detergents.
This seems to do a good job on our gym and running kit which smells much better after washing than it used to!
Gym clothes are so much fresher since changing over to this, so glad I did.

This is a great product, not just for smelly gym gear. I use it on my husband's work clothes, leaving it clean and fresh. I recently soaked pillows and trainers to get them clean. Good result and such a nice smell.
I was sceptical before I used but it has really worked to get out a damp smell from thick clothes that had previously taken too long to dry. Other washing powders and pods would get rid of the smell for a day or so, but then the smell would come back. Gym wash has got rid of the smell permanently with one wash.
I've tried it all previously....vinegar, napisan, baking soda, the special Miele sports wash.... all the recommended remedies to get THAT smell out. I was a bit unsure about this as some reviews were meh but others were positive. I am now converted, it worked for us and I keep sniffing his gym clothes expecting to have my nostrils seared, but NOPE it does not happen anymore! For which I am very grateful! :)
I wasn’t sure if anything could really get the smell out of my son’s training kits and smelly socks, but I definitely noticed a difference when I started using Gym Wash. highly recommend

I always washed my gym kit immediately after every training session, but there was often an unpleasant lingering 'damp' smell when I put on some shirts for my next workout. Not anymore! I was sceptical that Gymwash would be more effective than my other high-quality detergents, but it worked first time. Highly recommended.
This does exactly as it claims. Clothes that would have been thrown away now smell great!
I bought this mostly for my husband's manky mountain biking gear - normal detergent just wasn't getting rid of the sweat odour. I soaked everything once and have used it in the machine wash since with amazing results.
I've just discovered another problematic item that Gymwash has cracked - sweaty saddle cloths, rugs and boots from the horses! Again, items that can't be washed on a hot wash and normal detergent struggles to break down the grease from the horse's coat combined with sweat. One wash with Gymwash added has them immaculately clean! It is so refreshing to have a product that actually works and lives up to it's advertising claims. Thank you!
It’s just such a horrible feeling when you get a whiff of someone’s smelly gym clothes and you realise they are yours! They smelled ok when you put them on but as soon as they warm up you realise they did not get a good enough wash. I’ve tried washing on a longer, hotter cycle but nothing seemed to work until I tried Gymwash. When I opened the packet, the smell seemed horribly pungent but, once dry, my gym clothes smelled fresh and clean but not overwhelming. It’s a game changer!
I lived in Asia for 12 years and found that no matter how often my microfibre towels were washed the musty smell that plagued them disappeared after the first wash in Gymwash. No matter how fresh they smelled, the musty smell would return during their first use. Returning to the UK in 2022 I saw Gymwash advertised somewhere (I cant remember where!) and bought some. That musty smell disappeared on the first wash and has never returned! I have used it on all my swimming towels and gym kit ever since. I took Gymwash with me this summer to Asia where I was teaching swimming and lifeguarding. It performed as usual despite the heat and humidity and the extra sweat that it produces. Can't recommend it enough!
I was a little sceptical about this product, but thought I'd give it a try. I was previously using normal detergent along with Dettol Antibacterial cleanser. My husband and myself both go to the gym and do yoga 3 times a week, plus walking and running, so we are always washing kit.
This arrived promptly and on opening it, I was surprised at the very pleasant smell. The first wash I was very happy, there were no lingering sweaty odours and the laundry smelt very fresh. I had an old top that I'd shoved at the back of the drawer that I'd worn over and over, but it had got rather whiffy under the arms and I couldn't get the smell out, even with the Dettol. I soaked it in Gymwash and was absolutely amazed. It came out smelling lovely and fresh and I'm able to use it again.
I'm really pleased with Gymwash and will definitely continue using this for all our gym and technical sportswear.
