Is it a soak or a detergent?
GYMWASH is a detergent first and foremost, so you use it just like a regular detergent by putting 1 TBSP straight into the drum for your washes.
However, it can also be used as a soak too. Soaking is great for stubborn items that need a deeper clean.
We recommend people start with a soak first:
1. Add 2 tablespoons of GYMWASH to a tub of hot water (a plastic tub or bucket works great).
2. Submerge your clothes and leave them to soak for an hour.
3. Drain the water, then pop your clothes into the washing machine on a rinse and spin cycle.
If you don’t have a tub or bucket handy, you can also use your washing machine’s pre-wash setting for a similar effect.
Note: we don't recommend soaking in bath tubs because the water can be disgusting!
Is it safe for senstive skin?
We've had lots of positive feedback from customers with sensitive skin who report no irritation.
However, everyone's skin reacts differently. If you have sensitive skin, here's what you should know:
1. GYMWASH is a bio detergent containing enzymes, which may cause reactions for some people with skin sensitivities.
2. We use tea tree oil for its scent and antibacterial properties. This contains limonene, which can sometimes trigger skin sensitivity.
